Cooperative Sponsorship
OVERVIEW
We provide sponsorship to help individuals focus on social innovation without starting a separate nonprofit organization or while they are waiting on the federal government to finalize their nonprofit status. We offer three different types of Sponsorship depending on your program needs.
SPONSORSHIP TYPES
01.
Cooperative Sponsorship
Cooperative Sponsorship, or as we like to say "Coopertativeship," is a new unique system that empowers all parties involved as actual voting members in the umbrella corporations infrastructure right from the beginning. Your program becomes an empowered member of the umbrella nonprofit corporation and can be involved in decisions and help run the overall umbrella corporation as a community. This also means that your program can directly represent and be an officer within the corporation itself. Your program gets its own bank account and you can have your own signers and leadership oversight structure based on your programs needs.
02.
Fiscal Sponsorship
Everyone is automatically invited into our Cooperativeship model, but some people just use our moral standard fiscal Sponsorship options without getting involved in the rest of the umbrella corporation. This is still very flexible with the ability to use the umbrella corporation Tax ID as a fiscally sponsored program for grant and tax purposes, as well as the ability to set up a bank account, and other online money platforms, and of course you can also choose to just have a debit card to access your funds.
03.
Passthrough Sponsorship
For those who already have their own external structure and operating model, a passthrough sponsorship allows for programs to deposit funds directly into an existing account. In this model, the operations are coordinated externally from the umbrella corporation. There are reporting and follow-through requirements to ensure the taxes are conducted correctly. Please note, the administrative cost for this sponsorship option is the highest.
